FIELD: manufacture of engineering webs with reinforced seams.
SUBSTANCE: machine-stitched engineering web has rings fixed in the vicinity of seam. According to one version, rings are disposed between seam loops at two ends of web and embrace at least one thread extending transverse to paper advancement path in machine. In this case rings reinforce part of web in the vicinity of seam owing to the fact that threads extending transverse to said path to facilitate in web reinforcement. According to other version, rings are used instead of seam spiral.
EFFECT: provision for producing of reinforced seam unexposed to early rupture.
