FIELD: textile.
SUBSTANCE: one-and-half layer fabric of small thickness made of monofilament threads is claimed and assigned to be used as stitched compressed fabric for paper-making machine. Fabric is produced by unlimited weaving method with suture loops formed by adjacent weft threads located not above each other. Weft threads are laid in machine direction. Suture loops are directed perpendicular to basic fabric plane for easy connection and stitching. When fabric is under load, loops are compressed forming suture area with as small thickness as basic fabric thickness. Besides, configuration when threads are located not above each other ensures formation of larger "textile cake" as compared to other fabric with similar thickness.
EFFECT: sufficient strength of suture while preserving thickness of the main part of basic fabric.
