FIELD: agricultural engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for convective drying of loose materials and it can be used in elevators as part in set of grain driers or coolers. Proposed working chamber of loose material drier or cooler includes end face walls to which side gas permeable outer and inner walls are connected forming, together with end face walls, at least one-section gas manifold, and working channel at sides adjacent to gas manifold. Input port for material to be treated is made between upper parts of end face and side outer walls. Lower parts of side outer walls are arranged at small distance from each other, and they form output port between each other and end face walls communicating with each working channel. Side inner walls, whose lower edges are arranged at distance S from each other, are attached to skeleton of gas manifold. Said skeleton has longitudinal rods and ribs interconnected in lower parts. Lower parts of each pair of adjacent ribs arranged at different sides of skeleton of gas manifold are connected by separate cross brace of by direct connection of ends of said ribs.
EFFECT: simplified cleaning of lower zone of gas manifold from undersize.
