FIELD: heating.
SUBSTANCE: in each version the proposed device for directing gas medium flow in grain drier includes the chamber having the first opening to connect its cavity to gas header of working chamber of grain drier and the other one - to inlet of its fan. As per the first version, the device also has louvre wall located inside the chamber before the second opening, and carry-over accumulator connected to the chamber and arranged under louvre wall. As per each version, chamber of the device is two-section and has two-position valve for the first opening to be connected to cavity of its main or additional section. Wall of the chamber section has the third opening for the cavity of this section to be connected to fan outlet and the fourth one - to gas pipeline of the initial drying agent of grain drier. The fourth opening is equipped with a valve, e.g. gate valve. Also there provided is passage with gate to introduce cooling air to cavity of the main chamber section. As per each version, the device provides the possibility of switching gas medium flows for the chamber of grain drier to operate in two grain cooling modes: in the first mode - with suction of waste cooling air from chamber header and with recuperation of heat contained in cooling air or in the second mode - with ambient air delivered to header of chamber.
EFFECT: increasing operating efficiency of grain drier in various operating conditions.
