FIELD: electrical engineering, applicable for testing of electric motors after an overhaul or for the purposes of diagnostics, which enhanced the reliability, durability and efficiency of the installation upon the whole.
SUBSTANCE: the device has the first phase asymmetric controller, via which the induction motor under test is connected to the operating network, the second induction motor that is connected to the network via the second pass asymmetric controller connected to the electric motor under test by means of a reducer, and operates as an induction generator with a shear modulus close to the rated one.
EFFECT: expanded functional potentialities, reduced expenditure on the hardware, expenditure on tests and reduced consumption of reactive power.
