TEST BLOCK WITH ELECTROMAGNETIC LOADING MODULE FOR STUDYING AND TESTING ELECTRIC DRIVES Russian patent published in 2012 - IPC G01R31/34

FIELD: engineering.

SUBSTANCE: tested electric motor is connected to electromagnetic loading module through the joint box. The loading module contains steel disc fixed on the main shaft and braking disc with electromagnetic system containing eight electric magnets placed symmetrically in the circle on the braking disk. Secondary turning shaft of loading module fixed on the stand has calibrated balance weight and measuring scale with resisting moment, as well as angle of rotation sensor. Electric motor is outfitted with thermal sensors with light and sound indicator placed in the butt of lower part of the hollow bolt placed in the socket of eye bolt of electric motor frame. Thermal sensor is connected to the magnetic starter. Magnetic starter is connected to the impulse meter outfitted with the timer. The test block is outfitted with electric meter and voltage regulator. Sensors and electric meter are connected to the oscillograph connected to the PC. The frame is outfitted with the set of intermediate platforms of different height with holes and slots for fixing of electric motors with different height of turning axis and different mounting dimensions.

EFFECT: expanded functional capabilities of test block, decreased power loss during tests, simplifying of mounting electric motors with different height of turning axis on the frame.
