FIELD: invention refers to hydro acoustics.

SUBSTANCE: it may be used for acoustic sounding of ocean, underwater acoustics communication and also for experimental modeling of pseudo sound movements. Proposed mode of forming sound wave of given frequency in conducting liquid is in getting pseudo sound by way of passing alternate current of given frequency through this liquid and its reflection of solid surface fulfilled in shape of focusing surface in whose focus they place source of pseudo sound. Focusing solid surface may be fulfilled in shape of paraboloid of rotation or ellipsoid of rotation. In first case sound wave will extend in shape of parallel beam, in second-will be focused in another focus of ellipsoid.

EFFECT: possibility of getting directed beam of sound wave of given frequency.
