FIELD: geophysical research, in particular, seismic research conducted during search for hydrocarbons, possible use for finding and surveying locations of hydrocarbons of any origin.
SUBSTANCE: in the method for evaluating oil and gas bearing capacity of strata, which includes recording seismic oscillations in low frequency range from several receivers, positioned at a certain distance from each other, the recording is positioned for all measured components, the results are analyzed to detect presence of information signal emitted by productive bed, the presence and productivity of a formation are evaluated on basis of change of spectral power of information signal, micro-seismic filming is performed at promising sections within range from 0,5 to 20 Hz with usage of two systems of wide range vertical sensors of shifting speeds, where one of the systems, positioned in stationary manner on support station (platform), conducts continuous recording of micro-seismic field and evens out the level of seismic records at processing stage to take the changing micro-seismic conditions into consideration, the second system of broad-range seismic sensors in form of a spatial group moves successively from the first one for distance from 750 to 2,5 kilometers across all marked measurement points, which include parametric observation points (not less than 5-6), which are positioned closely to wells with known oil-bearing capacity parameters, on basis of results of measurement processing at parametric points, correlation dependence is determined between intensity of deep micro-seismic emission and total thicknesses of oil-saturated formations, frequency scanning method is used to process micro-seismic scanning data, intensity of deep micro-seismic radiation is evaluated in all points of observation and on basis of produced correlation dependence for parametric points, total oil-saturated thicknesses of oil and gas bearing strata are predicted.
EFFECT: increased precision when determining productivity and oil and gas bearing strata with evaluation of their total thickness.
