FIELD: biotechnology, in particular monitoring of atmosphere air by using bioindication.
SUBSTANCE: claimed method includes sampling of leafy moss belonging to Leskea polycarpa Hedw species on area 5x5 m or more and 50 m or more from road. Sampled moss is purified from foreign inclusions, dried and prepared for analysis by acid mineralization method. Heavy metal content (Cu, Ni, Co, Pb, Zn) in moss samples is determined by atomic absorption spectrometry. Obtained results are compared with the same obtained on background region.
EFFECT: enhanced field of application.
