FIELD: fire-fighting, particularly fire-protection systems, namely optical-electronic smoke detectors used to detect inflammation sites at early fire stages in sealed space.
SUBSTANCE: smoke alarm comprises microprocessor connected with light pulse source through amplifier, photodetector and amplifier with switched mode power supply to multiply, delay and transform received rectangular pulse into saw-tooth signal. Smoke alarm has comparator circuit with silicon transistor, which interfaces saw-tooth signal at amplifier outlet with digital microprocessor inlet. Smoke alarm includes receiving unit, which receives remote laser testing device having output connected to microprocessor.
EFFECT: increased stability of smoke alarm sensitivity, increased smoke alarm service time without maintenance thereof and possibility to obtain information about smoke alarm workability.
