SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fire safety. The smoke alarm comprises an emitter, a smoke detector and a dust detector. Smoke and dust optical channels structurally form a detachable measurement chamber which is easy to maintain (periodical dust removal). The smoke detector channel detects the emitter beam reflected by smoke particles. The dust detector channel detects the emitter beam reflected by a mirror. The beams of the detectors are spatially separated. An electronic control unit generates an alarm signal based on the smoke level and a dust signal of the measurement chamber when dust reaches a certain level. The electronic unit is based on schematically simple functional elements and does not require highly stable electric power supply.
EFFECT: high metrological reliability and simple design.
