FIELD: fire alarm systems.
SUBSTANCE: device has photo-detector with RC circuit with length of charge/discharge cycle dependent on light flow of light pulse source, and controller for determining smoke level or dust level on basis of length of photo-detector discharge. Current device can be used to find suspended particles of dust, fog, etc. in surrounding environment.
EFFECT: broader functional capabilities, higher efficiency.
