FIELD: braking electric equipment, possible use in various motors of horizontal rotation, for example in drives of shipboad antennas for smooth stopping in required position.

SUBSTANCE: electric motor braking device contains semiconductor frequency transformer and increment sensor of relative bearing. Contact of semiconductor frequency transformer is connected to electric motor output, contact of electronic motor through transmission which is connected to object being rotated, is connected to input of increment sensor of relative bearing. Contact of increment sensor of relative bearing is connected to input of braking signal generation circuit. The input of braking signal generation circuit is connected to input of brake enabling circuit.

EFFECT: ensured mode of reduced rotation frequency, possible fixation in required position, receipt of braking start impulse in advance, prevention of mechanical impact, increased reliability, simplification, reduced wear of friction parts.
