FIELD: process for preparing of fresh nectarine fruits for storage and further usage in space feeding.
SUBSTANCE: method involves washing inspected nectarine fruits at predetermined mode parameters in sweet water; sequentially holding in solutions of potassium permanganate and citric acid, and suspension of preparation produced from biomass of Mortierella reticulata micromycet by predetermined process, said solutions and suspension being prepared using sterilized distilled water as base; exposing nectarine fruits to ultraviolet radiation; packaging each fruit under aseptic conditions in smoking paper and placing in single layer within sterile polymer trays. Method allows nectarine fruits to be transported to space object, to be stored there during 45 days and used in space feeding.
EFFECT: prolonged shelf life of fresh nectarine fruits.
