FIELD: process for preparing of fresh nectarines for storage and further usage in space feeding.
SUBSTANCE: method involves washing inspected nectarines at specified mode parameters in sweet water; sequentially holding nectarines in potassium permanganate solution, citric acid solution and suspension of preparation produced from Mortierella spinosa by predetermined process, said solutions and suspension being prepared on the basis of sterilized distilled water; exposing to ultraviolet radiation; packaging under aseptic conditions in smoking paper and placing in sterile polymer trays. Method allows nectarines to be transported to space object to be stored there for 45 days and used in space feeding.
EFFECT: prolonged shelf life of nectarines.
