FIELD: hair dressing technique.
SUBSTANCE: hair dressing iron has vibrating part and rear part. Hair is placed between said parts. Vibrating part has vibrator and supersonic vibrating megaphone equipped with end adapted for contacting with hair, and mounting end for mounting of vibrator thereon. Megaphone intensifies and transmits supersonic vibrations of vibrator fixed at mounting end to hair contacting end. Megaphone is designed so that supersonic vibration amplitude provided at both sides relative to central part of hair contacting end exceeds amplitude in central part.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of hair dressing iron by preventing hair disposed in zone between vibrating and rear parts from spreading beyond said zone under the action of supersonic vibrations of vibrating part.
