FIELD: agricultural engineering, food, chemical, mining, metallurgical and construction industries.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method of separation of loose materials. Proposed inertia slotted separator has housing, charging device fitted under intake-and-distributing device and rotor with separating members made in form of solid plates vertically arranged slots, separated products receivers arranged on periphery of rotor, and drive. Rotor consists of disk and ring, the latter being installed concentrically on periphery of rotor for turning relative to rotor disk. Ring is provided with device to adjust its position relative to rotor disk. Separating members which form slots are rigidly secured on disk and ring of rotor.
EFFECT: improved efficiency of separation of loose materials, enlarged sphere of application of separator.
