FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: loose material inertial separator incorporates a housing, a loading device, an inlet-distributor device arranged above the aforesaid loading device and a rotor with separating elements rigidly fixed thereon in two circular rows. The said elements represent solid plates forming a slot hole between themselves and arranged perpendicular to product flow, the separated product collectors furnished along the rotor edges and a drive. The triangular symmetric slots are arranged along the product flow in the inner annular row separating element plates, the slot width being smaller that the loose material separation boundaries with the slots spacing exceeding the aforesaid boundaries.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of separating semi-dispersed loose mixes and increased cleanliness, expanded application field.
