FIELD: packing.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to contour strip and to packing container. Polypropylene-based contour strip for packing container must feature high oxygen tightness, ageing stability and stability to conditions of storing in tropical zones, resistance to treatment in filling machine which forms, fills and seals packing container. According to invention, packing container 40 consisting of housing made of packing material 30 with inner layer of paper or cardboard and outer thermally weldable layers of polypropylene with longitudinal seam 42 in which first and second longitudinal edges 32, 34 of packing material overlap, being connected to each other by thermal welding so that first longitudinal edge 32 is pointed inwards container housing. First longitudinal edge is protected by contour strip 36 which is connected by thermal welding in zone of seam 42. contour strip 36 has structural composition of first layer 14 with polypropylene surface pointed outwards, first adhesive layer 18, inner layer 12 made of oxygen tight polymer, second adhesive layer 20, second layer 16 with polypropylene surface pointed outwards.

EFFECT: improved quality of packing container.
