FIELD: manufacturing processes in machine engineering, namely manufacture of three-layer structures of metals and composition materials, for example glass reinforced plastics with corrugated filler.
SUBSTANCE: three-layer structure includes two carrying layer, one of said layers is made of plastics, and corrugated filler between layers. Second carrying layer and corrugated filler are made of the same metal clad with glass-reinforced plastics. Thickness of cladding glass reinforced plastics of carrying layer and in filler is no less than 0.4 mm. In cavities of corrugated filler there is porous material joined with filler and having density 0.05 - 0.3g/cm3. Carrying layer of metals clad with glass-reinforced plastic is joined with filler by welding through metal in tops of filler. Carrying layer of glass- reinforced plastics is joined with filler through cladding of glass-reinforced plastics along top portions of filler and along surface of porous metal. Metal of filler may be perforated with perforation factor no more than 0.7.
EFFECT: improved technical parameters of ships built with use of such three-layer body structure, lowered mass, increased carrying capacity and enhanced operation conditions of ships.
