FIELD: aeronautical engineering; systems for control of aircraft at engineless landing.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method consists in terminal state control at which periodic prediction of final state at preset function of control is performed depending on selected criterion of quality. During each stroke, present state of aircraft is considered to be initial. Quality criterion is altitude margin at key point in realization of one of three types of predicted trajectories ("flexible cylinder", "straight-in approach" and "tear-drop approach"). System proposed for realization of this method includes information-and-measurement complex, information display units, automatic control system, stability and controllability enhancing system, air navigation computer system and "Pilot assistant" intellectual system which is introduced additionally; this system works by set of algorithms loaded in onboard computer. No new instruments and units are required for control of aircraft. Landing approach and landing with inoperative engines excludes emissions and noise of engines, thus enhancing ecology at maximum saving of fuel.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency due to prediction in control system which corresponds to nature of functional activity of pilot who forms control process on bases of final results of prediction.
