FIELD: packages, particularly adapted to pack blankets and pillows.

SUBSTANCE: device comprises table to support article to be packed and impulse welding means. The article is placed in sleeve-like bag having one sealed end. The impulse welding means seals opened bag end. Device also has rolling unit, which winds article to be packaged into roll. Rolling unit is installed near article supporting table and includes two spaced apart rods, which define fork, tray with arch-shaped cross-section and support panel. Fork may rotate about common axis for article winding into roll. Tray is located under rods and extends along them. Tray may be pressed to outer surface of roll to be formed during roll rotation. Support panel extends obliquely to the rods and may slide along them to release formed roll from said rods.

EFFECT: simplified article rolling without manual labor inputs, possibility to create identical rolls having the same densities and dimensions and increased output.
