FIELD: chemical technology, fuels.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for isomerization of light gasoline fractions for preparing high-octane gasoline component. Invention describes a method for isomerization of light gasoline fractions that involves contacting raw with a catalyst comprising a hydrogenating component. Metal oxides of 3B, 4A, 7A and 8A groups of the periodic system of elements, and oxygen-containing sulfur ion wherein the process is carried out at enhanced temperature and pressure in the presence of hydrogen. As oxide component the catalyst comprises composition of the following metals: xFe2O3 x yMnO2 x zTiO2 x nAl2O3 x mZrO2 in the following values of coefficients: x = (0.06-3.6) x 10-3; y = (0.11-2.3) x 10-3; z = (0.12-2.5) x 10-3; n = (7.8-21.5) x 10-2, and m = (63.3-74.7) x 10-2, and wherein the mass ratio of oxygen-containing sulfur ion to the metal oxides composition is 0.042-0.178. Invention provides enhancing stability of the isomerization process. Invention can be used in oil-processing and oil and chemical industry.
