SUBSTANCE: method comprises flowing fluid through the tangential outlet passage, entering the housing, converting the linear fluid flow into rotation or spiral flow inside the housing, discharging the fluid from the housing through the tangential outlet passage. Upstream of the outlet the rotating or spiral fluid flow is again converted into a linear flow. The device comprises a bent branch pipe that has cylindrical housing, tangential inlet passage that is secured to the housing in the vicinity of the first end of the housing and whose inner diameter is less than that of the housing, and tangential outlet passage connected to the housing in the vicinity of the second end of the housing and whose inner diameter is less than the inner diameter of the housing.

EFFECT: reduced hydraulic resistance.
