SEPARATOR FOR SEPARATING SMALL PARTICLES (VERSIONS) Russian patent published in 2009 - IPC B04C5/08 B04C5/28

Abstract RU 2353436 C2

FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention is designed for separation of particles from gas. The separator includes number of cyclones arranged horizontally at a distance from one another for treatment of gaseous combustion materials containing residual small particles of a catalyst. Each cyclone consists of a case, of an input end for supply of primary product, for gas inlet and captured hard particles into a circular space, created by the side wall of the cyclone case and a cylinder outlet tube for gas, installed coaxially with the cyclone case, of an outlet for hard particles; this outlet is located at the opposite end of the cyclone case, and of an opening for gas recirculation. Number of cyclones jointly is used both as a common dust arrester for hard particles discharged from the outlet for hard particles and as a common distributing collector for supply of gas and captured hard particles. The cyclones are equipped with screens to suppress capture of hard particles from tangential discharge of neighbour cyclones near the point of inlet to the opening for gas recirculation.

EFFECT: increased efficiency of separation.
