FIELD: flow meters.

SUBSTANCE: flow meter with a flow channel (10), which is connected to the pipeline through which the fluid flows, and on which the measuring unit is located, comprises at least two sensors (22, 24) designed as ultrasonic transducers, which are located at a distance from each other and are configured to transmit measurement signals in and out through at least one recess (16) of the flow channel (10), and having a control unit (30) located in the housing of the control unit (8) to control the sensors (22, 24) and processing of measuring signals. The measuring channel (58) located in the flow channel (10) is formed by a multi-piece measuring channel insert (20), which has at least the upper part of the measuring channel (44) and the lower part of the measuring channel (46), which at least partially separate the section of the measuring channel (42). The measuring channel insert (20) inserted into the recess (16) is equipped with inlet and outlet inserts (4, 6) that are attached to the section of the measuring channel (42) and are also inserted into the recess (16). The length (L) of the section of the measuring channel (42) and the inserts (4, 6) exceeds the width (l) of the recess (16).

EFFECT: ability to simply interchange input and output inserts of different types and install these inserts in such a way that after installing the measuring channel insert, they fit perfectly without requiring the use of additional holding elements.
