SUBSTANCE: it is necessary to detect the coefficients of saturation of nuclei and nucleoli with argentophil granules and, also, nuclei with nucleoli. Then one should calculate the following value: DF=0.954×CSNn+1.795×CSnG+0.077×CSNG-0.651×S, where: CSNn - the coefficient of saturation of nuclei with nucleoli, CSnG - the coefficient of saturation of nucleoli with granules, CSNG - the coefficient of saturation of nuclei with granules, S - the coefficient for specifying a patient's sex, for men - 1, for women - 2. At DF>3.28 one should diagnose surface transitional cell carcinomas of urinary bladder.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of diagnostics.
