SUBSTANCE: method involves sending tonal signals by means of audiometer bone telephone, lateralization of which is determined in ear of better hearing. Then, signal intensity is increased. If lateralization vanishes and further increase in intensity leads to signal lateralization in the ear of worse hearing, unilateral endolymphatic hydropsis is to be diagnosed. The less intensity is required for changing sound lateralization in the ear of worse hearing when compared to sound intensity resulting in lateralization disappearance, the more endolymphatic hydropsis expression is.
EFFECT: improved diagnosis method.
