SUBSTANCE: proposed raw material mix contains the following components, mass-%: water glass, alumina, caustic magnesite, kaolin, chamotte filler and additionally it contains chromite at the following ratio of components, mass-%: water glass, 5.0-10.0; alumina, 15.0-20.0; caustic magnesite, 24.0-36.0; kaolin, 5.0-10.0; chamotte filler, 5.0-10;.0; chromite, 24.0-36.0; ratio of caustic magnesite to chromite ranges from 2:3 to 3:2.
EFFECT: enhanced refractoriness of mix.
