FIELD: ceramics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to raw mixture used in manufacturing ceramic articles used in nonferrous metallurgy, for example, in producing aluminum alloys. Proposed raw mixture comprises the following components, wt.-%: water glass, 8-10; alumina, 18-20; caustic magnesite, 30-34; quartzite, 8-10; fluorophlogopite, 4-6, and chamotte filling agent, the balance. Invention provides enhancing erosion resistance of ceramic articles made of the raw mixture in aluminum melt.
EFFECT: improved and valuable property of raw mixture and articles.
