SUBSTANCE: raw mix for manufacturing expanded clay contains argillous raw materials, heavy hydrocarbons of the oil-processing enterprises treatment facilities, perlite, furnace slag and caustic magnesite, at the following ratio of components, in mass %: argillous raw materials - 80.0-85.0; heavy hydrocarbons of the oil-processing enterprises treatment facilities - 0.3-0.5; perlite - 4.2-6.5; furnace slag - 6.0-9.0; caustic magnesite - 4.0-4.5.
EFFECT: increased durability of expanded clay.
