FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wind turbines with vertical axle of rotation and it can be used for power generation. Proposed wind turbine contains shaft rotation around vertical axle and great number of blades connected mechanically to said shaft. Each blade is elongated body with upper and lower ends, upper and lower ends of each blade being rotationally displaced relative to each other along longitudinal axis so that each blade has form of screw spiral. Section of each blade perpendicular to longitudinal axis is aerodynamic surface with leading edge, trailing edge and middle line of profile of aerodynamic surface passing between leading edge and trailing edge. Aerodynamic surface is arc-shaped so that middle line of profile of said aerodynamic surface passes along constant curvature line with radius of curvature being R'. According to other design version, length of middle line of profile of aerodynamic surface of each blade decreases to upper and/or lower ends relative to length of central section of each blade.
EFFECT: increased uniformly of rotation at high speeds, reduced noise level.
