FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wind power engineering and may be used for electric power generation. Wind turbine comprises shaft revolving about lengthwise axis and multiple stiff vanes jointed to the latter by cross arms and arranged in circle, each being composed of long body with top and bottom ends, and top, medium and bottom cross arms. Section of vane long body by plane perpendicular to shaft lengthwise axis represents aerofoil with front and rear edges and center line. Vane long body has central part, top part and bottom part and is twisted about its straight lengthwise axis to cross turbine rotational axis. Note here that top part end of each next vane is located definitely above the bottom part end of every previous vane. Chords of surface profiles obtained in cutting the vane by plane perpendicular to turbine shaft axis are formed with radius located in section plane to connect turbine shaft axis to geometrical center of the profile at angle a varying between 0-105° depending upon particular shape of the profile.
EFFECT: simplified design, constant torque at turbine shaft.
