FIELD: power installations; electrical energy transmission to hermetically sealed systems by means of cables, wires, bundled conductors of various mechanical design.
SUBSTANCE: proposed hermetically sealed bushing insulator designed for passing electrical conductors through shielding enclosure has metal case accommodating biological shielding components with holes whose quantity depends on that of conductors and with flanges on their both ends for mounting bushing insulator modules with metal hardware; inner space of case is filled with gas held under excess pressure and communicates with pressure transducer; bushing insulator modules are made of ceramic materials tightly joined with conductors by means of metal hardware; modules and conductors are connected to metal hardware by way of high-temperature laser welding; body is filled with dry nitrogen, SF6, and other gases held under excess pressure of up to 2 at.
EFFECT: enhanced operating reliability of conductors, extended service life, enhanced fire resistance and radiation (biological) shielding of bushings.
