PNEUMATIC VACUUM-TYPE SEEDING UNIT Russian patent published in 2008 - IPC A01C7/04

Abstract RU 2322783 C9

FIELD: agricultural engineering.

SUBSTANCE: apparatus has casing with seed chamber and vacuum chamber, and seeding disk mounted between said chambers on horizontal shaft. Suction openings and excessive seed baffling plate are provided circumferentially of seeding disk end surface. Baffling plate adjoining end surface of seeding disk has guide and shank with saw-shaped protrusions. Working surface of protrusions facing toward suction openings is extending perpendicular to end surface of seeding disk. Rectangular longitudinal through cut is formed in guide, said cut being arranged in axially symmetrical manner relative to center of seeding disk. Pin is joined perpendicular to end surface of guide. Shank has mechanism for regulating position of protrusions relative to suction openings with cylindrical washer. There is Archimedes channel and central through opening on end surface of washer. Guide pin is engaged with said channel. Fastening pin is extending through said opening. One end of said pin is rigidly connected to casing of seeding unit. Other end of pin is connected through threaded connection to pressure handle for retaining of baffling plate relative to casing of seeding unit. Pin is passing through longitudinal through cut. Guide is positioned inside slot which is positioned radially to center of seeding disk. Excessive seed baffling plate is pressed by means of spring to end surface of seeding disk. Saw-shaped protrusions apexes of shank of excessive seed baffling plate are arranged along arc of a circle having radius exceeding radius of a circle along which centers of suction openings are arranged. Center of a circle along which apexes of saw-shaped protrusions of baffling plate are arranged is positioned on line parallel to axis of symmetry of guide and offset relative to it toward lower part of seed chamber.

EFFECT: reduced damage to seeding material and improved quality of single-seed sowing process.
