FIELD: hygienic and sanitary articles.
SUBSTANCE: method involves manufacturing toothbrush with body comprising handle part, head part, and neck part disposed between handle part and head part. Functional units which are at least partly disposed within body include electrically actuated functional unit and electric power device equipped with power accumulator and designed for said functional unit. Body is manufactured by pressure casting from at least one rigid component serving as strength carrier and from at least one soft component. At least certain functional units are partly covered during forming of body by extruded facing from soft plastic component. Also, toothbrush manufactured using said method is described in Specification.
EFFECT: simplified manufacturing process and improved quality of toothbrush.
