FIELD: construction, particularly manual devices for liquid or other fluid material application onto different surfaces used in surface finishing, for instance rollers for wallpaper hanging or paint application.

SUBSTANCE: finishing roller comprises handle with extension member receiving cavity, which receives one end of extension member, and ferrule connected to another handle end and adapted to fix roller. Roller has working material application coating. Handle end opposite to that with extension member receiving cavity has depression, which creates working material accumulation void. Void has depth H selected from 0.03L<H<0.35L, where L is handle length. Void mouth may have extensions to support user's finger and to suspend the finishing roller to edge of bin filled with working material to provide excessive working material flowing back into bin.

EFFECT: extended functional capabilities along with simplified structure and reliability of handle connection with extension member, increased usage convenience due to prevention of handle spotting with working material and possibility to save working material.
