FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to construction, namely to manual accessories for application of liquids or other fluid substances on various surfaces used in finishing operations, in particular to designs of rolls intended for painting or wallpaper works. Roller of finishing roll comprises the following components intended for installation on bracket - at least one split bush and cylindrical body for location of working coat on its outer surface. Body is arranged as detachable into two symmetric parts, and plane of joint is parallel to axis of cylinder. To simplify fixing operation and reduce mass of roller, fixing elements may be arranged along edges of body symmetrical parts. In order to improve fixation of working coating and to reduce misalignment of roll and bracket, circular plugs in the form of disks having hole for bracket may be arranged in end parts of roll. Inside body there might be stiffening ribs installed, which are at the same time holders of split bush.

EFFECT: improved convenience of use, improved economic indices, better uniformity of applied coat.
