LAMINATED STRUCTURE MADE FROM PLASTIC MATERIAL AND USED FOR PRODUCTION OF FACING CERAMIC TILES Russian patent published in 2008 - IPC C04B33/00 

FIELD: manufacture of building materials; production of molded articles for manufacture of building materials.

SUBSTANCE: proposed laminated structure is made in form of bar of rectangular or square cross-section; it has at least two layers located in parallel and two additional layers. One surface of each layer is face of tile. Other surface is rear surface of tile with longitudinal projections made along bar. Two additional layers are parallel and are located on opposite sides from surfaces of main layers which are just lateral surfaces of tiles. Each of them is connected with lateral surface of each main layer with the aid of connecting strip which is parallel to projections. Main layers are located horizontally in such way that rear surface of each upper layer is directed towards face of respective adjacent lower layer; projections are provided with bearing surfaces which are engageable with face of adjacent lower layer. Height of projections is 0.5 to 2.5 of thicknesses of layer on which they are made. Projections have preset shape which ensures their separation from surface after roasting.

EFFECT: improved conditions of drying and roasting of layers; possibility of making flat and angular tiles of any size; improved quality of tiles; low cost.
