FIELD: construction engineering. SUBSTANCE: method involves molding beam of plastic mass, cutting beam into blanks by means of two cutters whose cutting edges are moving over beam division surface from one extreme position to other in opposing directions to ensure alignment of cutting edge positions of cutters on division surface along line between two parallel surfaces of beam which are used as front surfaces of ceramic part. Device for cutting plastic mass beam has substrate for mounting separable part of beam and cutting mechanism connected to drive and provided with knife and bow with tight string. Knife and bow are mounted for turning in beam division plane from one extreme position to other in which cutting edge of knife and bow occur between horizontal surfaces of beam. Bow comes in contact with knife in this position. EFFECT: improved quality of ceramic part front surfaces. 12 cl, 3 dwg
