FIELD: cloth made from strip of woven material to be used in papermaking industry.
SUBSTANCE: method involves using strip of woven material having smaller width as compared to width of cloth needed in papermaking industry; forming main part of said strip by multiple-layer weaving, and forming lateral edges by weaving with smaller number of layers than in main part of strip in such a manner that, upon winding of woven strip in the form of continuous spiral for producing of cloth used in papermaking industry, lateral edges overlap each other so as to form respective spiral joint, wherein the total number of layers is equal to the number of joints in main part of strip.
EFFECT: increased efficiency in strengthening of joints and uniform structure of woven double-layer multiaxial materials.
