FIELD: mining, particularly object ventilation to provide safe and comfort conditions of work, to prevent occupational diseases, endogenous fires and fire results.

SUBSTANCE: method involves selecting vented mine in rock massif; supplying air flow with predetermined flow rate and temperature in mine; measuring air flow rate and temperature; additionally determining possible threshold air flow rate and temperature deviations from said predetermined values; measuring mine length and volume if above air flow rate and temperature deviations are present; marking-out measuring points in mine sections; setting corresponding air temperature and mass flow rate values in outlet mine section by means of air temperature and mass flow rate measuring devices; simultaneously changing air temperature and mass flow rate; determining specific enthalpy difference and corresponding specific mass velocities of air flow, mass velocity change regime indexes, initial enthalpy difference and mass velocity values and initial heat flux in mine outlet section; determining specific heat flux carried by moving air flow in outlet mine section with varying specific enthalpy difference and specific air mass velocity and at different indexes of mass velocity and specific enthalpy difference change regimes from given mathematical formulas.

EFFECT: increased reliability of heat flux determination and precision of flow rate of air to be supplied in mine, as well as improved technical and economic mine operation parameters.
