FIELD: mining industry; may be used in prevention of fouling of mine atmosphere with gas in ventilation systems. SUBSTANCE: method includes selection in ventilated mine working of object of local aerodynamic resistance with the required length, cross-section and volume; preparation of needed points at the beginning and end cross-section of the object; marking the points; measurement of longitudinal and transverse elevations of the points; measurement of aerostatic pressure, temperature and time of passage of gas-air flow between the points; taking samples of gas-air mixture in points and determination of mixture physicochemical composition, molar mass, density, mass of gas-air mixture and velocity of flow between the points; additional determination of caliber of working inlet and outlet sections; measurement of gradient of molar mass between beginning and end points; measurement of direction, size and shape of the object, loss of head in overcoming the object of local aerodynamic resistance; and determination of the value of local aerodynamic resistance of the object to gas-air flow of gas-laden mine working by the offered mathematical expression.
