FIELD: methods and systems for registration of seismic data.
SUBSTANCE: in certain geographic locations, data which represents acoustic signals, received from Earth, is gathered. In certain geographic locations also the data which represents signal of environment is gathered. For each geographic location, correlation of known time dependency of signal of surrounding noise with time dependency of gathered data of acoustic signals is performed to determine time-correlated data of acoustic signals. Gathered acoustic signal data for geographic locations are synchronized on basis of time-correlated data of acoustic signals.
EFFECT: simplification of seismic research and ensured conduction of new types of seismic research.
