FIELD: food industry; fodder production.
SUBSTANCE: method to increase ruminant animals milk protein production consists in providing with the heightened metabolizable protein level fodder, the fodder composition includes acetate-containing compounds in the form of sodium acetate or sodium diacetate in the quantity (in energy equivalent) up to 3% from the metabolizable energy content in the ration per head a day with the content of the metabolizable raw protein at the ration increased up to 10% with respect to the normative demand in metabolizable raw protein.
EFFECT: stimulation of milk protein production; increase in amino acid efficient use among productive ruminant animals in the period of steady lactation.
