SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of production of fodders for farm animals. The fodder additive for heavy milking cows during the milking period contains milled maize grains - 35%, soya extraction cake (with protein weight fraction equal to 46% and more) - 40% and a dry vegetable fat - 25%, the daily consumption rate being 1.0 - 1.5 kg/head/daily. The dry vegetable fat is represented by BergaLac "protected" fat in a dry form.
EFFECT: proposed fodder additive is aimed at improving energy provision with heavy milking cows during the milking period and possesses a high productive action and high quality.
