FIELD: lighting.
SUBSTANCE: lighting apparatus imitates a neon light and ensures light emission of such colours, which are not possible to get when one light diode is used, by introduction of a system of colour conversion in the apparatus. This system of colour conversion involves intermediate medium, that allows light to pass through it (22), painted in given composition of one or more fluorescent dyes. The light emitted by the equipment source (16), is directed to the intermediate medium which allows light to pass through it (22), where it interacts with fluorescent dyes in it. This light partly absorbed by each of the fluorescent dyes in the medium, and the light is emitted from the medium with less energy onto a light receiving surface (12) of a waveguide.
EFFECT: obtaining light of different colours using a lighting apparatus.
