FIELD: measuring techniques.
SUBSTANCE: portable device for determining marker gases in expired air consists of case with a hood and two branch pipes for sample injection and cleaning the whole system. Inside the case there are piezoelectric sensors with sensitive film coating for detecting basic components of gas mixtures. The portable device also contains devices for stimulating oscillations and detecting signals from the piezoelectric sensors. The case is made from fluoroplastic material and is kept in an upright position by a removable ring on a plug-in post with a platform. The miniature stimulation circuit is tightly fixed to the hood. The piezoelectric sensor(s) signal is registered by a portable device, the scale of which is graduated in units of frequency and concentration of the test gas. The stimulation circuit and registering device are autonomously powered by a built-in supply. The whole device is portable.
EFFECT: decrease in size; increase in mobility.
