FIELD: antenna engineering.
SUBSTANCE: antenna includes vertical vibrator (VV) implemented in the form of rectangular plate with 0.038 λ height, where λ is the biggest wavelength of the operating frequency range. Base of the plate with its stray capacitance carries out function of radiator with circular pattern in horizontal plane. Matching device includes two circuits connected in series each containing a printed inductor, a resistor, and inductors formed by VV plate configuring. Thanks to said implementation of VV and matching device electrical length of the VV exceeds its geometric length.
EFFECT: reduction of antenna height dimension while leeping its radiation efficiency.
