FIELD: antenna engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed antenna that can be used in stationary and mobile communication systems operating in short and ultrashort wavebands and in particular as base antenna of transmitting station has vertical monopole, coaxial feeder, shorting cylinder, and nondissipative stub in the form of short-circuited coaxial-line section connected in parallel with coaxial feeder at vertical monopole base. Electrical characteristics of monopole, shorting cylinder, and nondissipative stub are given in invention specification.
EFFECT: improved matching of vertical monopole and coaxial feeder, enhanced antenna gain in horizontal direction and at small angles of elevation.
